Circle Keeper Training
  • Explanation of restorative justice and restorative practices

  • Explanation of Youth Apprenticeship Model (YAM) of RJ for schools

  • Tier 1 Circles: Experiential training through small community circles

  • Tier 2 Circles: Exposure and role plays of healing, talking, reentry, support, and accountability circles

  • Film clips, breakout groups, and written exercises

One on one support
  • Help with creating a whole organization rollout of restorative practices

  • Follow up to evaluate implementation of restorative practices and provide support through observations and additional staff development as necessary. Includes co-facilitation of circles, further training for small groups, and one-on-one conversations to troubleshoot issues.

  • Keep circles for individuals and organizations utilizing a Circle for peacebuilding, discussing important topics, connecting as a community, resetting the climate, or healing.

Implicit Bias
  • Participants will 

    • Understand the psychology of unconscious bias

    • Identify how implicit bias may affect their practice and interactions in the workplace

    • Explore tools that may improve awareness of their own implicit biases

    • Define the Four I’s of Oppression and explore intersectional aspects of their identity
